In the years directly preceding the pandemic, arts organizations had already been struggling due to a substantial loss of public funding. The public health crisis around the Coronavirus and the caution that must be exercised around social distancing at "super-spreader" events such as concerts have made a lasting impact on performances of live choral music. As we strive to return to some semblance of concert-going normalcy, The Esoterics hopes to continue to grow and thrive despite these obstacles. 

The Esoterics is proud to be a volunteer ensemble, where trained artists are driven by the love of their craft, not by financial gain. Although our members refuse to put a price tag on what we create, our group still needs support in order to create compelling concert experiences and recordings that prioritize artistry over economy.  We are still passionate about advancing the choral art by commissioning brand-new world-premiere works from composers around the world, and by producing imaginative programs of contemporary masterpieces as well as lesser-known newly-discovered gems from the a cappella repertoire.

Half the purchase price of each of The Esoterics’ CDs is considered a tax-deductible donation. By purchasing any one of our available recordings, you’ll receive great music and support the group!
